After high school, our paths diverged – some pursued the city council positions, others ministry, some joined the Armed Forces, or education – leading them to live in distant cities. Yet, a persistent thread of connection remained, a desire to give back to the community that had nurtured them as youth. In August 2024, they returned, not as tourists, but as a collective force. They organized a Youth Empowerment Event in the heart of Glennville, GA, transforming the City Auditorium into a resource hub.

Students received scholarships, free haircuts, and school supplies. Our local food vendors filled the parking lot as children enjoyed games and activities all day. The event was more than a homecoming; it was a first step. Our vision extends beyond Glennville’s city limits. We hope to build bridges between surrounding counties, fostering unity and empowerment for both the youth and business owners, ultimately aiming to create a ripple effect that could inspire similar initiatives worldwide.
